We camped here and the campground was great. There were plenty of trails to explore and it is convenient to many dog-friendly things to do in Mackinaw City. However, as a previous reviewer mentioned, the “dog beach” leaves a lot to be desired. It is very small (60 yards? Not even a football field long) and given the number of dogs in the campground, crowded. Given the 26 miles of coastline you’d think they could give a mile to the dogs!

They have a couple of picnic tables outside adjacent to the bar where you can sit with your dogs. You have to go in to order but they will bring your food out to you. Food is your typical bar food. Highly recommend the Gouda and bacon mac&cheese bites! The staff was friendly and gave our girls lots of pets and lovins!!

We camped here and had a lovely time. There are trails right around the camp that offer a lot of great sniffy walks. While dogs are not allowed on the main swimming beach they are allowed they are allowed in the areas to either side of it. The beach and Lake Michigan ( Green Bay) is pretty rocky here. Lots of dogs in the campground as well. Escanaba is 30 minutes away and has several dog friendly restaurants and activities.

Beautiful campground with plenty of hiking trails and nature. The only downside is there isn’t a pet friendly beach. Ocqueoc Falls is a short drive away and is very dog friendly for a Wade around the falls and nice hiking trails!

The falls are beautiful and there are several areas where you and your pup can wade and swim! Really nice hiking trail as well!

Such a great place to hang out with the dogs! Huge outdoor area but dogs are also allowed inside. Excellent atmosphere, fantastic beers, ciders and NA drinks. Tacos and pizza are available for food.

Dog friendly patio is really nice! The tasting room manager, Cindy(I think) was super friendly and gave our doggos lots of love and pats! The wine was really good too!

Great patio. Excellent beer and food. our doggos were very welcome and got lots of lovins from both the staff and other patrons.

one of the few dog friendly places in the Soo. The staff were very friendly and the food and beer were fantastic!

It was a quick visit but the beer was great! No food menu though.

The girls, Eleanor and Daenerys, had a great time! The server brought them water before asking for our drink orders! The brisket, ribs, and sausage were great and the Mac & Cheese was to die for! The girls appreciated all the love and attention!

The falls are absolutely beautiful! The hike is short but has some tricky spots (rocks to walk over and some fallen trees), but was overall an easy hike. The girls recommend all the good sniffs and playing in the water.

Love this place! lots of outdoor seating with umbrellas for shade. Super friendly and dog knowledgeable staff. Our girls got lots of love and pets and a refreshing bowl of ice water! Our lunch was was excellent and of course the beer is fantastic. 10/10 Would definitely recommend!

Has a nice, covered patio with ample shade. They also provide water bowls. my only caveat is that the tables are very close together and with larger dogs like ours it is difficult to get around especially if tables are full. it was pretty empty the day we went but had it been full I’m not sure we’d have stayed. Human food was really good.

This is a wonderful and very dog friendly brewery and restaurant. They have a very large outdoor seating area with plenty of umbrellas for shade. The beer is great, the food amazing and the atmosphere is wonderful. We will definitely be back with our doggos!
