Acceptable for cost in a large city

This hotel is what you’d expect for lower priced long term accommodations. The stairwell and hall carpeting are in need of deep cleaning and have an odor. The room itself has been updated recently and was surprisingly very clean compared to the other areas. An odor of marijuana is always present in the common outdoor areas and hallways. Unsupervised children who live at the property roam the grounds and halls and are loud. Sketchy people who reside at the property loiter in the lobby and the outside areas drinking beer and smoking. The staff are friendly and try to be helpful. It’s an acceptable place if you don’t want to pay more than $300 per night because you are traveling with a pet. I wouldn’t stay here more than an overnight but as I said the room was clean enough for a short stay.
