To go containers

service was good and friendly. When eating here with your pet they serve your dine in meal in “to go” containers and give you plastic utensils. If you
prefer eating on regular dinner try Aztecas, they are in the same area. They are dog friendly and your dining experience is what you would expect when eating out. Shaggy’s claims possible cross contamination if they use dinnerware.

Great Place

We ate at Don Marcos Kitchen twice in our 3 day stay in the area. The staff is outstanding, they offered water for our dog and provided great friendly service. Food was great, price was reasonable. Really worth dining here.

Terrible

All public areas are nice and well maintained. The rooms don’t seem to get the same attention. The air conditioner is loud, many people walking the outside walkways can be loud as well. Our room smelt so awful, it was a muggy damp musty dirt smell that made me feel sick every time we walked in the room. I tried to spray air freshener and put out some fragrant soap I was hoping would help. I let the front desk know multiple times. I was only told they would pass along the information to the manager and the manager would call. We stayed here three nights, we never heard from anyone regarding the issue.

On our last night we received a notice that the hotel was going to be cleaning the carpets and asked that we have everything picked up off the floor. The letter stated it would only take 15 minutes and the carpet may be damp after the cleaning. I asked the front desk when the cleaning would begin, since we had plans to leave early the next morning I felt like the carpet cleaning in our room could wait till after we checked out. The person at the front desk had no idea when the cleaning would start. If the front desk does not know when the cleaning will begin why did they put notices out. I would not stay here again or recommend it.
