Perfect stay
Mariners MotelWe loved our time here and our pup Wally enjoyed it even more. Room #10 had a view of the chickens from across the parking lot. He was mesmerized and binge watched "Chicken TV" throughout our stay! Plenty of dog walks and Chicken TV and Jan from the Housekeeping staff took good care of us. It was the best stay on our 1,700 mile road trip! Thank you!!
Comfy room, doggie treats upon check in!
Best Western Plus Wilkes Barre Center CityThe room was comfy, the hotel offered a restaurant and room service, doggie treats presented to my pup upon check in, and a warm greeting from friendly staff after a very long day of driving! There is a tiny pet relief area located at the side of the hotel but sidewalks and grassy areas across the street are close by and convenient. Although there were some sketchy people loitering in the vicinity of the downtown hotel, there is also a police station nearby and I felt safe enough walking the dog across the street. Plus the historical architecture in the downtown area is really nice.
Good for the price point
Comfort Inn & Suites Statesville - MooresvilleThis was inexpensive but the room itself felt a bit dingy and worn out, although it was clean. But the price was good and the staff warmly welcomed both me and my pet. There is a large patch of weed overtaken grass out front where you can walk your pet.
