Great location and great for dogs
Residence Inn by Marriott Salt Lake City - DowntownWe stayed here twice in the past two months and completely changed our minds from a negative experience a year ago. Staying in the main building helped, and having construction completed helped. The location is great especially for our dog; there is plenty of grass on the property for taking the dog out and Pioneer Park is across the street with a small fenced dog area as well as a large area for exercise. And Cottonwood Park dog park is only a few miles away. The room was comfortable and well-equipped with a full kitchen. Our girl liked the couch to sleep on. It's a stiff dog fee - $75 - but all in all a great place to stay.

Dependable dog hotel
Staybridge Suites Reno an IHG HotelWe have stayed at Staybridge a number of times with our German Shepherd and have had uniformly good experiences. The rooms are well set up for dogs and the staff is friendly and accommodating. It is a suite hotel so the rooms have kitchenettes that are extremely useful with the dog. The location is great, near stores and restaurants. There is grass around the hotel to take the dog to, and there is a great dog park (Link Piazzo) a few miles away. We stay at this hotel every time we pass through Reno on our trips to San Francisco to see our family and appreciate having this option.
