Charged Excessive Pet Fee

Stayed there a year ago and had no problems. Most likely we paid a pet fee, but I'm nor sure. This time we paid a $80 pet fee, 2 pets for 2 nights. We accepted that. Then they required a $200. deposit against pet damage. There was no pet damage and we covered the beds with our own sheets, a procedure that we follow every time we stay in a motel. After we left they only refunded a $175 and held a $25 for extra pet cleaning. We have never had that problem and this appears to be scam to keep some of our money. On top of the scam, I had left a $10 tip for the cleaning staff since the room was very nice when we arrived. I would strongly recommend that you reconsider Beat Western and not refer them in the future.
