Good Location
Comfort Inn University GainesvilleEasy location but not a lot of green space to walk your dog. I was on the bottom floor across from an elevator and it was easy to get my dogs in & out of the hotel out a back door. Room was clean & beds were comfortable. A fair amount of noise because there was a class booked in the conference room that was just down the hall from my room- & not many parking spots because it was oversold. Nice Breakfast.
Needs work
Super 8 by Wyndham Valdosta/Conf Center AreaWas clean but it was super noisy. Upstairs guests sounded like they were literally slamming doors and jumping up and down. Very busy after 10PM. Not a lot of green spaces to walk your dogs. I did have a room close to a door and was on ground floor so easy to walk my dogs. I literally needed a place to sleep overnight while we continued our trip. Not sure I would stay here again. Carpet in the hallway was disgusting & hotel floor was sticky (laminate flooring). Remember you get what you pay for. If I had paid $20 more I could have stayed at a different place. Close to interstate & lots of towels. TV was an extremely old flat screen.
Lots of Green Space
Country Inn & Suites by Radisson Winchester VAPet Rooms are on ground floor and very close to back door. Lots of green space to walk your dog. Very quiet. Close to restaurants and very helpful staff.
Quaint stay with limitations
The Farmington Inn & SuitesHotel was quaint but everything is up a set of stairs (6 steps) to the floor you stay on & no green space for dogs to relieve themselves. Hotel staff was very nice. Room had a slightly odd odor. Hotel is across the street from several restaurants but they are all closed on Mondays.
