Chili's right next door
Microtel Inn by Wyndham Victor/RochesterWhen you can't leave your dog in the room and it is freezing out it is nice to be close to a restaurant with take out. Bare bones but who needs more when traveling. Lots of shops and restaurants in the area.

Tough night's sleep
Microtel Inn by Wyndham JanesvilleI am sure I would have given this hotel a 5 had it not been for noisy guests. Partying, someone coughing up a lung, and slamming doors all night long. I asked for a refund and was told that the manager would call me back, he never did. The hotel should have shut this down but didn't.

Lacking amenities
La Quinta Inn by Wyndham Toledo PerrysburgUpon check in I was told there were only sheets on the bed and to ask if I needed a blanket. I thought I would be OK but woke up during the night cold. I should have asked for a blanket before I went to sleep but what hotel doesn't provide blankets? I went to wash my hair in the morning but there was no shampoo. The hair products were all from different hotels which I thought was very odd. Maybe they were trying to reuse and recycle?

Great for your dog
Comfort Inn Plymouth - MinneapolisI appreciated having a closed courtyard that I could take my dog into right from my room. Safe also.

Expensive
Clarion InnToo expensive for an average hotel room. The $50 dog fee didn't help. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Awful
Clinton Inn and SuitesNo locks on either entryway doors. Dirty, small flying bugs in room, centipede in room. No cups in room for taking medications or drinking water. I took a shower standing in 4" of water. Outdoors there were a lot of signs to pick up after dog but no trash cans to put dog bags in. Had to keep poop in room overnight.
