Great location, poor management
The Sylvia HotelLarge, 1-bedroom suite with comfortable living room, full kitchen, stove, fridge with freezer, separate bedroom. The space was really good for travel with a 60 pound dog but the bed was too small, the pillows were the worst ever, and the bedding was poor. I saw on the Fido booking that we had 1 queen bed although I had asked for 2 queens so I phoned the hotel several days before arrival and was assured that the bed was a king. I was on a very tight schedule and had no time to try to make a change. When checking out, I mentioned this error on the part of the hotel but the manager took no responsibility for it, not even an apology. Future travelers, be warned that this is not a top rate hotel. The setting is fantastic. The room and maid service are great but the bedding is terrible and the desk personnel need to learn better management skills.
