Solid place for pets
Hampton Inn & Suites MysticHave stayed here twice because we have family in the area and will probably stay here again. If you're traveling with a large dog your options are a bit limited in the chain hotels in the area, and AirBnB and VRBO can be expensive when the fees are added in. The Hampton Inn has a pet-friendly king suite that's not much more expensive than their other pet-friendly rooms, and it's extremely spacious and comfortable. We've found our room to be very clean and generally pretty quiet. They put all the dog owners together at the end of the first floor hallway near the rear door for easy potty-time, and so there is little thru-traffic past the rooms and the people traveling with dogs are generally not there to stay up late and party. Prices go up a lot on Friday and Saturday nights probably due to proximity to the casinos, but weeknights are pretty reasonable. Would recommend for anybody traveling to the Mystic area with a big dog.
