Dog Park Nearby
Baymont by Wyndham RockfordStaff helpful, location just off our travel path, decent hotel with great free breakfast. Some worn elements but clean; wish they did not have carpeted rooms but we dealt with it. Nice to have indoor pool. Best was large dog park minutes away available to use with a $8 day pass.
Surprising Nice "Backyard"
The Sunset MotelIt was smaller than we expected but made do ok. Even though located in busy traffic area (easy to get to lots of great mtn sites) - the bonus was the spacious green area in back of motel....chairs, hammocks, plenty of exercise area for our Husky (but not fenced/keep dog on leash).
Good Location
Red Roof Inn & Suites Pigeon Forge - ParkwayEnjoyed the free pancake breakfast each morning at restaurant next door compliments Red Roof Inn - easy location for many day trips in area; plus not far from Sevierville Dog Park so our young Husky got plenty of exercise each day.
Lovely Views
Kentucky Dam Village State Resort ParkBest part - view of marina and dam - plus room had a balcony that our 1 yr Husky really enjoyed while we sipped wine or coffee. Best breakfast buffet - very impressive variety and delicious. Tight parking situation and ice machines waiting to be repaired only down side. We will stay again when in area.
OK but
Red Roof Inn PLUS Nashville FairgroundsNo real problems, just stayed one night while traveling to mountains but facility is showing its age...just glad to have a place that accepted our Husky.
Great Experience
Red Roof Inn Springfield, MOOur 1 yr old Husky's 1st hotel experience. Ground level end unit - so easy to go out to potty area - all good. Close to good eating places and not too far from a great dog park too. Great experience.
