Nice place, no complaints

It’s your standard hotel experience. Clean, medium-soft beds, fridge, microwave, breakfast. We were given a carpeted room—woods have preferred tile, just in case. Close to attractions. No special dog area but they do accept large dogs.

The Smart Stay Inn

Pros: great for the dog and set up nicely for her to go out. Hot breakfast from 6-9:00. Very nice evening/night concierge who put up with us modifying our reservation. Pool and hot tub available, but it was a little chilly for that. Cons: bed is hard, but some people like that. Three of the outlets in the room didn't work, which was a little unusual. All in all, I'd stay there again.
