2nd stay
The CommonwealthThis time we were in 602. Valet service took care of our car and luggage. The dining room is not regularly open, so it is somewhat hit or miss. Very convenient to the Capital Park for dog walking, open from 6am to 9pm. Queen sofa was very uncomfortable in the living area. Needs improvement. Like the convenient location and will return.

Great room
Olde Harbour InnThis was the perfect hotel for me, my friend, and my 15 pound American Eskimo and my Birman cat. It was difficult to figure out where to park and unload my car, but once I figured it out it was easy. Nathan helped me with my baggage. The room was really magnificent with balcony overlooking the river. The downstairs had a long hall with lots of storage closets, King sized bed, full living room, 1 bath, and then upstairs a loft with queen bed. Very private for an unrelated companion. In the evening till 9pm there is complimentary wine and hors d'oeuvres and in the morning, coffee, muffins and orange juice. The room walked out directly to Emmet park for the dog and was sooooo convenient. Because the room wasn't immediately ready for me when I arrived. The manager out of her own volition, called me up and reduced my room by $75. What a welcoming environment. Walking distance to my favorite restaurant, Olde Pink House. I will definitely stay, hopefully in this room next visit.

Near Central Park
Le Meridien New York Central Park by MarriottI was traveling with my 15 pound American Eskimo dog and my Birman cat. The hotel was extremely pet friendly. Easy elevator ride to 1st floor. The hotel is a 5 minute walk to Central Park. I would give it 5 bones except some deficiencies in the room itself. Refrigerator did not work and no one came to fix it. The door lock was messed up and it was difficult to close the door. Not sure what may have happened but when the valet delivered the car, there was a pair of small girl’s underwear in the driver's side door. Otherwise I would definitely return to this hotel with my fur babies.
