A Great Stay!
La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Garland Harbor PointThe La Quinta was fantastic! We were upgraded to an accessible-friendly room for extra space for our cats in the bathroom. It came with a couch as well, and was on the first floor and easy to access. The room was fantastic and staff great! Laundry room was nice to have too, though I wish they had later hours. The Texas-shaped waffle maker was also a big hit :)

Almost lost cat in the walls!
Super 8 by Wyndham Austin South I-35The bathroom was NOT cat-safe. Under the sink there was a hole upwards that led into the walls of the Super 8. My cat climbed in and could have been traversing the walls in no time - thank goodness she turned around when I called her! DO NOT trust the bathroom unattended. We also had someone sketchy approach us with beer and trash in hand asking where the front desk was while we were unloading the car. We called the front desk woman to warn her as we knew the front door was broken and wanted her to be safe from unwanted visitors. Beware of this location!

A great stay!
Quality Inn DemingQuality Inn was great! The room was clean, breakfast served was delicious, and the room was as promised with all amenities! The inn was easy to find as well. One thing to note for cat-owners: the bed has a space behind it that is hard to get cats out of. Be prepared to block it off or coax them out (not easy for spooked pets on road trips). Thank you!

Horrible stay
Motel 6 Redlands CARented a non-smoking room. Got a room with a heavy smoke stench with crumbs all over and a wet bathroom floor and hair on the pillow on check-in. Asked for a re-clean and returned hours later to at LEAST a swept floor, dried bathroom floor, and newly made bed. But as an asthmatic I struggled all night. Couldn't open the window because the screen was torn. The room was filled with flies as well - killed 5 and there were at least another 3 I couldn't kill. AC was unreliable. Thought it was worth saving money. Never again.
