Very accommodating
La Quinta by Wyndham KingmanI was trying to beat a storm and called to ask to move my reservation up to that day (early by one day). They were quite full but they were so kind to give me a room but let me know it would be slightly different (two queens instead of one king). When I arrived they gave me a room on the first floor towards the end of the hall for easy access outside. The room was clean and had hard floors and you couldn't hear much noise. This was a welcomed stop after adding 5 hours onto the drive with my 2 pups who were troopers. Lots of fast food, grocery, gas, auto parts, even a hospital near by which made it easy to get up and go.

Nothing over the top
Hyatt Place Amarillo WestMy two dogs and I were put on the fourth floor. It seems people with dogs and kids were there. The walls were quite thin and we were next to a room with some younger kids and you could hear a lot as people walked down the hall which made it a challenge for my mini Schnauzer not to bark. The shower door was broken and it seemed there was some sort of leak as there was a large puddle of water outside the shower (not from my shower taking). I just stayed for one night so it was bearable but wasn't too impressed. The morning breakfast was great.

Great little pit stop
Love's Travel StopThis place was in the middle of no where right off an interstate but it wasn't crowded, clean, and had a dog park. I walked my pups around the perimeter and grabbed some lunch. It was quite windy the day I went, not sure if its always like that. Loves truck stop bathrooms were clean, great options for lunch and staff was friendly.
