Old room
Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Gallup East an IHG HotelOur room was old and in BAD need of a remodel. Wallpaper was stained and carpet… just yuck. We were there in winter and ground was covered in snow so it was difficult for dogs to potty, so hard to say if grounds are dog friendly.
Dog approved
Homewood Suites by Hilton Wichita FallsThis is a nice hotel. Lots of great places for dogs. Even a lake with a walk around. It is a huge upgrade from any other hotel we’ve stayed at in Wichita Falls and we’ve stayed in maybe three or four others. Wish the dog surcharge wasn’t so high but it’s worth it.
Great place
Element MoabOur room was clean and really nice but the best part was for our dogs. Grass! Real grass along 2 sides of the whole hotel! And plenty of clean-up stations. We will stay here next time we are in town.
People and dog friendly
Hampton Inn LaramieBy far the cleanest pet friendly room we have stayed in. Dogs enjoyed the outdoor areas also. We will def stay here next time we pass through
Never again
Candlewood Suites Wichita Falls at Maurine Street an IHG HotelWe stayed here two years ago and while there were a few extended stay guests it was still mostly a hotel and an okay stay. Lots of areas to walk the pups. Our stay in January of 2023 was a huge disappointment. The majority of guests are more like residents. Long term migrant workers, 99% single males. In the evening when it is dinner time the stench of so many cooking so many different foods was intolerable. There is basically no ventilation while cooking so the smell is trapped. We left EARLY the next morning before breakfast was cooked. We didn’t get a very secure feeling in either the hotel or parking lot with so many men hanging out on the stairs, lobby and parking lot. We won’t be back.
Dog friendly
La Quinta by Wyndham MoabQuick in and out but apprecithe clean room and grounds. Several doggie bag stations made clean up easy
