Not a 5 bone experience
Petro FlorenceThe pet area is as shown below in the pictures, but no water and full sun. The full-service restaurant was staffed by 1 person and had limited options.
Pretty much standard Aloft
Aloft Richmond West Short PumpAmple dog walking areas, but otherwise just OK. There is a large Whole Foods just one block away. Hotel layout is bizarre and there is a funny odor throughout. Breakfast items available at extra cost. Coffee maker in room, but not working.
Outstanding staff makes this place special
Homewood Suites by Hilton FlorenceGiven the location we were not expecting much, but there were ample options for walking our dogs, good restaurants nearby, a Tesla charging station and a pool (sadly closed). The best part was breakfast, which was served with care and expert service by a lady who obviously took great pride in her work. Overall the rest of the staff were friendly and helpful and the dog treats at the front desk showed a welcoming attitude.
Convenient location
Residence Inn by Marriott Akron FairlawnThis hotel is conveniently located next to an office park with nice walks and a lake. Otherwise it’s pretty standard Marriot fare, though the hallways were not as clean as usual.
All around superior
Best Western Plus Lincoln Inn & SuitesFriendly staff, nice accommodations for both people and pets, and EV charging stations.
Just OK
Tru by Hilton CheyenneThe hotel was modern, but not that comfortable. Room was not carpeted, a bit noisy and lobby looked like a convenience store. Very little available dog walking space.
Nice empty lot for dog walks
TownePlace Suites by Marriott Cheyenne SW/Downtown AreaPretty standard fare, but the staff were very friendly and there is a large vacant lot just in front of the hotel for dog walks.
Good food and lots of grass
Best Western Plus Steeplegate InnThe hotel rates 5 🦴 for food at the associated restaurant/bar and for grassy spots to walk. The room was not carpeted and hallways were not so clean.
