SOOO Charming!
The Smokehouse Lodge and CabinsThis is just the best. Friendly service, the kind you rarely get anymore. Clean and spacious. If you can get a room facing the back it's best for the pups, but there are plenty of places to walk and sniff!
Great Stay
Comfort Suites EffinghamPrices reasonable as quoted, clean room, great breakfast, and a restaurant next door was great for supper. Highly recommend.
Nice Spot
The Sage HotelWe stayed in January so it was cool, the place was warm and comfy. Easy dog access and couldn't have been nicer people at the check in. The room was small and older, if we would have had big dogs (or people) it would have been really tight. There is no carpet, so no pet smell, the bed was great, and again easy dog in/out. The furnishings are a little rustic but they work for what we needed. I will warn that the app says $15 per pet per night, but the fee was $20. Also, the room rate was $64 in the app, but at check in we were told there is a $15 resort fee, so the room was really around $80. Also a $50 refundable deposit for damage. If we were back in warm weather we would consider this place again.
Nice place!
Gateway Studio SuitesClean, friendly, and comfy. Easy access to walk the dogs. Would stay here again! Actually a happy hour in the evening offering beer and wine, relaxing.
Wish they were all like this!
La Quinta by Wyndham Page at Lake PowellReally nice, clean, affordable rooms. Dog friendly to the max. Really enjoyed it. Super place.
Clean and welcoming
Super 8 by Wyndham SalinaThis was a nice hotel for the price. It was clean and no odor. The walls are pretty thin though, could hear neighbors and traffic. The biggest drawback is that all pet rooms are on the 2nd floor. However there is a nice area to walk them right outside the back door. It would be even nicer if all dog owners cleaned up after their dogs. We would stay here again if we were passing through.
