Great location
Ace Hotel New OrleansThe staff is very dog friendly and welcoming! No outrageous dog fees. Green space is hard to come by in NOLA, so having Lafayette Park within a block is VERY convenient. The front desk even helped us find dog friendly places to eat and provided extra towels to help clean up our dog after a wet day walking through the French Quarter. For us, the room was nice, even though the bed and pillows are particularly firm. Laminate floors throughout and plenty of space to set up the dog crate.
Great Pizza
Papa Joe's PizzaGreat food, great atmosphere, and an easy place to bring the pup. Nice outdoor seating, some
covered, some open, with easy access in and out. Plenty of space for your pup to stretch out a little.
Fabulous Location! OK Food
The County LineCouldn’t ask for a better location and view of the beautiful San Antonio’s Riverwalk!! Right on the water, outdoor seating, and no trouble having a dog with us. Hostess and wait staff were attentive and quick. The BBQ was just OK… I had the shredded beef sandwich, lots a great bbq sauce and flavor, but the meat was still somehow dry and tough. The mac n cheese side was very saucy, kinda watery, but not particularly cheesy and lacked flavor. My son had the brisket which was very good. The coleslaw is also good.
NOLA Hot Spot, but not great for dogs
Cafe du MondeStill would recommend going, but just “ok” for dogs. The beignets and hot chocolate are delicious and everyone knows it!! Lol!! Very long line to get in, but it moves fast. Outdoor seating area is tight and crowded, so your dog doesn’t have much space. It was a foggy, dreary day when we went, but not raining. Strange that the floor of the covered seating area was absolutely drenched and filthy…and so was our Aussie! Nonetheless, we’d still go again!!
Outdoor seating
Ernst CafeOutdoor seating, convenient location. Unfortunately, all the smokers (cigarettes and cigars) are out there too and the smoke was pretty overwhelming. Not the first time we’ve had smokers at outdoor seating, but this was A LOT and nauseating while eating. I think the heavy, foggy air kept the smoke from dissipating. The server was great, but slow and we had to chase him down to pay the bill after a long wait. The food was really good, highly recommend the Debris Fries and the Ernster Po’ Boy!!
Inside seating available
Flamingo A-Go-GoTook our Zoë out to eat with us, but it was a little cold and drizzly. We walked inside to the host stand and asked how to access the outside seating because we have a dog. She walked us right in and sat us inside the dining room! So nice to be able to sit inside comfortably with our pup. Our server was fantastic, so friendly, and quick with anything we need. I had the Shrimp and Grits, which was amazing! Highly recommend!
