OK Place
La Quinta by Wyndham St. Louis WestportBooked to spend night with wife & dog. I thought I requested nonsmoking room & actually thought most places are smoke free now. Room had bad smell of cigarette smoke. Room was clean & there were clean towels. Two previously used wash clothes were left hanging, one on shower curtain rod, one on edge of tub. I needed to iron a shirt. Pale blue ironing board cover had some brown stains on it, so I put a bath towel down to iron my shirt. On side of bed towards the window, a heavy metal frame piece protruded out a couple inches & I could not move it. Fortunately, I saw before ramming my shin in to it & put one of my sneakers over it so I did not ram in to it when I got up in the night.

Tired Old Facility
Days Inn by Wyndham Albuquerque WestWe checked in at 4PM, were given room keys & went to room. Smell of skunk weed being smoked by someone on the grounds. It had not been cleaned, bed spread was balled up on bed, no linens, top of desk surfaces were filthy, no towels. Went back to desk & they selected another room. The desk clerk went & checked that room, no wash cloths, so he went & got us two. This room was clean. Previous guest left food in to go box in refrigerator. Bathtub had a large crack in the back end. Gap under door outside let light in and a lot of noise outside. The security latch at the top of the door had been broken off. We had a dog and walked him along inside of fence in rocks by parking area. The shrubs were full of empty beer bottles & liquor bottles. Hard to believe Wyndham allows this run down property to use their name!

Sketchy area
Red Roof Inn & Conference Center Wichita AirportStrange people hanging around outside. Room was fine, seemed clean. Inconvenient one way street making a challenge to get back to. Had our dog & the area where he need to walk to relive himself was full of trash and dog feces previous gusts didn’t pick up. Empty beer & liquor bottles all over the area next to parking lot. Bed was comfortable & rate was reasonable.
