Beware
The L MotelWe booked online at the L motel (online pics showed charm) and when we arrived we were in our car in less than 10 minutes. It was uninhabitable. Absolutely disgusting. The host was very kind but the place was not fit for guests. If I knew how to upload photos for you I would. A dealer trying to offer us his business as we were going to check-in and a prostitute off in the corner with one of her customers had us feeling unsafe.

Mediocre
Red Roof Inn BakersfieldThe room was clean but beat up. It looked like there may have been a bar brawl in there at some point and never repaired but bed was comfy. There were four of us, two queen beds but only 2 bath towels provided. A housekeeper came to our room to give us ant bait but we didn't see ants so I don't know what that was about. We heard sirens throughout the night and the check in was a window with bullet proof glass so although it looked like a decent area it must have been not such a great area but we don't know. The staff were all nice but we won't go back.

Great stay
Country Inn & Suites by Radisson Amarillo I-40 West TXCountry Inn was cozy with great "inn" charm. The rooms were spacious and clean. The indoor pool was fabulous! It was large with a waterfall and the hot tub was the size of a small pool. The beds were comfy. Staff was helpful and nice. We would definitely stay here again.
