Best Days Inn I've seen
Days Inn by Wyndham WauseonThis is the nicest Days Inn I've stayed at, and this is good news considering the Days Inn before it. This one is easy to find, nicely decorated and very clean. The staff is friendly and very helpful. It was a nice stay.
Not a helpful staff
AmericInn by Wyndham Moline Airport Quad CitiesThe room was clean and very nicely decorated. Sad to report, the staff could have been more helpful. GPS couldn't find the place so I called for directions. Woman was absolutely no help and made no attempt to try. She told me to find the South Park Mall and they are across the street. Never been there before so... find the mall? Really? And on which side? They made no mention of anything connected to "dog" like potty area, but were quick to collect the additional pet fee. They advertised free breakfast and hair dryer, two things important to me. They had neither. Interesting to note, the mattress sank in/to the middle and there was an indoor pool with no water.
Nice stay
Quality Inn and Suites Eugene - SpringfieldThe hotel was clean, quiet, comfortable and we had no issues. Everyone was very nice and other dog owners seemed happy, too. We gathered our food at the breakfast area and took it back the short distance to our room to eat comfortably with our dog.
Oh no!
Days Inn by Wyndham BurnsThe only good things I can say about Days Inn, Burns OR, are the desk people are very nice and breakfast is adequate. The actual hotel is terrible and noisy. Our room was old/beat up, the A/C had one temperature: too cold. There were workmen on site but they didn't appear to be doing anything that showed. Our bathroom was a horror. It was filthy, cracked dirty tiles, dirty seams in tile, baseboard & corners, and worn, dirty fixtures. Don't even think of showering here. They need to tear this building down to the studs and start over!
Adequate at best
Amber Inn MotelAmber Inn is not bad but not really great. The desk clerk is friendly but didn't offer info about wifi, dog friendly areas or coffee. There was no coffee option in the room. The room was clean and pleasant for an overnight stay, but not a vacation spot.
One night with dog
Quality Inn Rock SpringsDiscovering our room assignment was not convenient for a few reasons. Quality staff quickly made a change without argument. The room was pleasant, clean, comfortable and had all we needed. The breakfast included was just right for us.
A nice place to stay
The Waldport InnNicely decorated and very clean and fresh. For visiting dogs, there is a basket with towels, a dog biscuit, waste bag, a blanket and a separate sheet to cover the bed if your dog is one who sits/sleeps on the bed. We were all very comfortable.
