Disappointing
Cabins of MackinawWe thought we booked into a cabin when we reserved it but was into a motel area of the property. We upgraded to a cabin for more money on site. Worst part is you can’t leave the pets alone which defeats the purpose for us.

Nice stay
Hampton Inn HollandWe stayed one night near the start of the Tulip Festival so it was full. They didn’t have our room ready after 4pm and we had trouble getting connected to the wifi. Once in, the rooms are comfortable and well insulated from noise. Very good stay given the drain on their resources with the crowd.

Good value
La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Lexington South / HamburgRoom is smaller than other LaQuintas we have used. They also do not have a hot breakfast like the others. The pool is open with limited capacity and requires a reservation. Very good for the money. Dogs were accommodated at no charge.
