Sweet staff

The Putney Inn

As far as budget dog-friendly hotels go, the Putney Inn is definitely one of the better I've stayed at. Rooms are comfortable, the family who runs it is very kind, and there's a nice field for dogs to play in. It's well situated for visiting Putney and only about 10 minutes drive from Brattleboro.

Fine, but not great

DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Norfolk Airport

Staff was nice, but the rooms and building itself just felt a bit junky/dirty. Thin walls, shaky elevator. Certainly didn't feel like a Hilton.

Great dog-friendly upscale hotel

Kimpton Marlowe Hotel an IHG Hotel

Clean rooms, great concierge, friendly staff, stylish decor, and extremely dog-friendly (room came with fluffy dog bed, bowls, treats, and toy!). Complementary coffee in morning and wine in evening, decent in-house restaurant/bar, great location in East Cambridge close to river, MIT, and Museum of Science. Will definitely come back next time we’re in Boston!

Pawfect!

Port Inn and Suites Portsmouth Ascend Hotel Collection

I’ve stayed in a lot of dog-friendly hotels, and Port Inn was one of the best. Clean,
Comfortable, nice grassy area for the dogs. Convenient to downtown Portsmouth, Kittery outlets, and Exeter. Friendly staff. Will def be coming back.
