Horrible food
Applewood Farmhouse RestaurantOur first time going. We heard great things about the restaurant but the food was horrible. It was cold, and the meat was so tough we couldn’t eat it. We order four entrees (chicken fried chicken, two steaks, and chicken in dumplings) and did not like any of the four. The service was fine but I think the food was old, bland and low quality. I honestly don’t remember anyone saying the liked one single item. We took 3/4 of it with us but ended up throwing it away. Breakfast might be better but we won’t be returning for dinner.

Great selection
One Twenty Three Burger HouseFirst place we ate at in St Augustine. Dog friendly, quick service. My son was a fan of the pizza burger and my husband loved the bison burger. I wished we would have went back before we left.

Late night pizza
Mellow MushroomWe visited late at night because of the heat so we had the patio to ourselves. My husband is a big fan of Mellow Mushroom, they did have some local specials that looked interesting. Very pet friendly.

Loved the big fans!
Salt Life Food ShackVery dog friendly, the large fans and shade helped keep everyone cool. The menu is basic but worked well for my picky family. We especially enjoyed the sushi.

Great place!
BeachcomberVery pet friendly, fantastic location and a great atmosphere. The other patrons were super nice and gave Tatiana lots of attention. The crab dip is a must try.

Not pet friendly at all
Senor IguanasI have not been there in over a year because I was told dogs are not allowed after taking my Maltese there before. I will not be back. They didn’t even come out and talk to me they just told my friend to tell me. We were outside, in the parking lot under a tent they had set up not even on the patio and as far as possible away from the only other group there. My dog travels with us, vacations with us, is very small and was in a pet taxi. The only reason I am giving them one is to warn other pet owners.

Super dog friendly
Double DogsWe love going to Double Dogs, they will even bring out a water bowl for your pup. The food is always good and it’s in a great location.
