Horrible Accommodations
La Quinta by Wyndham Salt Lake City AirportThe door sensor for our key cards did not work. Even with the front desk knowing, they did nothing, and it would take us 1-5 minutes to get inside the room. That’s a long time to be frustrated and standing in the hallway, especially with all your things. The room was stained and gross. The bathroom door wouldn’t close all the way. Room smelled like disinfectant. The sink drain stopper was broken, not that I was using it, but c’mon. Fix that. It’s like $2 for a new one. Breakfast was a diabetic’s nightmare. They didn’t even have water. But they had fake OJ and apple juice. The only thing somewhat suitable to eat were these egg omelette things, which part of mine was ice cold. One point for having hot sauce. The La Quinta is hit or miss. Read reviews first. This place is inexpensive for a reason.
Third floor & carpet
La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Idaho Falls/AmmonHow annoying would it be to take your puppy out 4x during the night, from the third floor, right in the middle of the hall? The floor had carpet, too, unlike the prior La Quinta we had stayed at the night prior in St. George Utah. The people who worked there were kind enough. There was a free hot breakfast and large indoor pool. But we even had the BF concierge call the hotel first to see if they had pet rooms available. This was definitely not a pet room. Fine for a pit stop without a pet, but truly annoying with one.
