Visit after a hike with the pups
Mt. Rushmore Brewing Company & Pounding Fathers RestaurantWe stopped here after hiking in Custer Park with our two pups. We sat on the deck. The staff brought us out a bowl of water for the pups and cold beers for us that we had along with ginormous nachos that were so filling and tasty. Great stop for pups, beer, and food!

Dog Friendly Stopover
Mitchell KOAWe stayed here in June 2023. The camp owners were very accommodating. We had a spacious, long, pull-through site that was perfect for an overnight stay. We received great local wine and beer recommendations for items that had in the camp store. They made sure we had everything we needed after a long day of driving. The owners are definitely dog people, giving our pups some love, and there were nice areas for walking our two pups. We will definitely visit again!
