Expensive with poor service
Holiday Inn and Suites Grand Junction an IHG HotelNo chambermaid service and no breakfast buffet. Two bath towels and one hand towel. $290/night. Location in a quiet industrial park was okay for walking the dogs, but the room was expensive for this area and the service poor.

Good Location for larger breeds
Holiday Inn Express Washington Court House an IHG HotelThis hotel is quite new and surrounded by fields with little traffic on the roads, a good spot for jogging with a dog. It has a back entrance with a stairway. There is a shopping center with restaurants a quarter mile away. The woman at the front desk was new to the job or needed more training.

Adequate for Larger Breeds
La Quinta by Wyndham Kansas City AirportThe hotel exterior shows some wear, but the interior is in good condition and the staff are mature and friendly. The street is quiet and tree-lined, and there is a park a block away to exercise larger breeds. There is a mall a mile away with a wide choice of restaurants.
