Not great for dogs
Best Western Holiday HotelThis is a very basic motel room situated between the North and South lanes of Hwy 101, which is noisy and has a lot of traffic. There are grassy areas along the roadway, but not very convenient to the rooms. We did have a ground floor room and it was spacious to accommodate our dog's crate which was appreciated, but the room was overpriced and very mediocre. I didn't even see any doggie bags on the premises.

Great dog area
The Redwood Riverwalk a Boutique MotelThe play/poop area was fully fenced and gated. It had 3 or 4 types of ground cover (pebbles, rocks, grass, bark dust) for your dog to choose from. They could run and play safely, and the area was clean and well maintained. The rooms were clean, well equipped and roomy enough for a dog crate. There were a few issues with the room, but they were minor, and we enjoyed our stay here.
