Nice features but too many burrs and single gated
Heritage Park Dog Off-Leash AreaOn first impression, the entry is single gated, but luckily, the dogs really don't form a "welcoming committee" here, so that was only a minor drawback.
It's a very spacious park. There are human facilities there, in case you stay a while. There's a walking trail that people tend to follow.
There's a pond, which will help the dogs with the heat. Bring a towel!
There's also a tall grass area. My dog enjoyed it! However, when she got out of it, her face and legs were covered in burrs. It took me at least an hour to brush and pick them out of her wavy fur that curls when wet.
