Great locally owned hotel
The Academy Hotel Colorado SpringsPerfect for you and your furry bestie. Dog friendly rooms are not as nice as the others (e.g. not carpeted and you can’t get a king) but nice and clean. There’s a grassy area nearby too. Great breakfast (omelets made to order!) and the staff is kind and attentive.
Pricey but nice
Staybridge Suites Lubbock South an IHG HotelClean and well laid out room with a grassy area for the pup. Nearby restaurants within waking distance. Dog fee reduced it to 4 bones but we will stay here again.
Super pricey
DoubleTree by Hilton DurangoLast minute booking and was very $$$. But due to car issue we had to stay. Room was nice and hotel is on the Animas River so the location is awesome for us and the pup. (Ergo the price!). No kitchen, teeny fridge so we ate at the restaurant which allows dogs on the patio, right by the river. The food was dreadful. We would stay at the hotel again, but would not eat at the restaurant.
