Stay away!

Super 8 by Wyndham Abilene North

Since I have Wyndham rewards and thought this might be a good place to stay for a week for work… oh boy was I wrong. Room disgusting, not fully cleaned, used washed cloths in shower, dirt, dirt and more dirt. Door barely closed. Was very sketchy. The grassy area to take your pets is COVERED in stickers which my poor babies had to find out. I ended up canceling and they refunded me, thank God! Across the street are like 6 or 7 more hotels to choose from, albeit a bit more money, but that’s peace of mind for me and my pups. 0/5 bones if I could. AVOID this place.

Okay

Best Western Plus Boulder Louisville

Hotel is safe and has good breakfast. My room smelled like dog pee. Maybe at some point these hotels will start making pet-friendly rooms without carpet 🤦‍♂️

Locally owned and awesome owners

Budget Inn Express

I stayed here last night with my two pups. The front desk Guillermo was very helpful not only on the phone as I was driving in terrible Wyoming road conditions, but in person. The room was nice and satisfied my needs, as no carpet, roomy space and a plethora of doggy green space outside, even in the snow. I totally recommend it for a comfy nights stay.

Perfect all around

Candlewood Suites Springfield North an IHG Hotel

This is one of the first hotels I’ve stayed in where all the boxes are checked. It is clean, the rooms are spacious, quiet, and of course have fridge, stove, utensils, etc. They have a huge grassy area that’s perfect for the dogs. AND, the front desk staff was amazing, friendly and very helpful. Definitely recommend. 🙂
