Great Location
Residence Inn by Marriott Winston-Salem Hanes MallOur room was on the first floor and near the side entrance which was very convenient for taking our dog outside at all hours. Behind the hotel is a long grassy area with two dog bag dispensers. Although Hanes Mall Blvd can get busy, when I took my dog on a walk early in the morning, it was quiet. There is a sidewalk all along the street and I also walked through the parking lots for a good 1.5 mile walk. The one bedroom suite was clean, well supplied with kitchen needs, and quiet. The complimentary breakfast was very good, with a variety of hot offerings throughout the week. The staff were friendly and engaging. Overall, our experience was delightful.

Clean and convenient
Best Western Plus University InnThis is not a luxury hotel. For the price, it was a good value. It was clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good with a nice selection. The hotel is old, the bed is soft and a bit lumpy and the bathroom door was damaged. The room was spotless, smelled clean and was quiet. Our German shepherd was content. Although you are on University Parkway there is a nice wide sidewalk for walking toward WFU campus. I would reserve a room again if I need to find a place quickly in Winston Salem.
