Fun Weekend Getaway
Hotel LincolnGreat location. Very cool rooftop bar/restaurant; it's enclosed ,so you won't freeze with friendly, competent staff. Rooms are nice but small. We had a great view from the 9th floor. Very thin walls that allowed tv and conversations in the next rooms to be clearly heard. Front desk staff often seemed apathetic and disengaged.

Well Priced Stay
Red Roof Inn Roanoke RapidsFirst, let me say that I'm grateful that there are dog friendly places to stay and to find one that doesn't charge extra for pets is a real find. The hotel and room was pretty clean and the rooms don't have carpeting, which is good IMO in case a pet has an accident. The staff was friendly. A good value for an overnighter with pets.

Clean and affordable
Super 8 by Wyndham SavannahIt was great to see the hallways and rooms completely uncarpeted. The room and common areas were extremely clean and much better maintained than other places in the same price range. The dogs and I will definitely return next time we're near Savannah.

Perfect Overnighter
Country Inn & Suites by Radisson Roanoke Rapids NCThis was my second stay with my pups. It was clean and the room/bed were comfortable. AC worked very well. The room has vinyl planking so no carpeting to worry about. Ample areas around the hotel for walking the dogs. Walking distance to Cracker Barrel for take out if you don't want to find and drive to a dog-friendly place. As I travel with dogs, I'm grateful for a nice place to stay on my way to and fro. This hotel does a great job!
