Wow. I've stayed here twice and should have known better after the first experience. The second one was even worse. Both times the front desk was EXTREMELY slow checking me in. 15+ minutes just to get into the room because the manager was training the girl the first stay (I get it) and the employees were just extremely slow the second stay. Both times I paid an extra $22.50 per pet per night for my dog. Although he is a service animal, I typically just pay the pet fee to avoid being hassled and harassed by those who do not believe he is a psychiatric service dog.

When I went to check out after the second stay, the manager lady went to inspect the room and came back like "Oh my god there's so much dog hair in hair! Come in here and look!!!" Well yeah. It's the middle of summer in a hotel by the beach and he's a German Shepherd. I figure $45 pet fee is enough to cover the extra three strokes it takes to vacuum up the hair. But anyways this manager lady had me standing in the room waiting for 20+ minutes while she harassed housekeeping and flagged someone down to sand the door for some reason. She made it seem like it was my fault housekeeping didn't come in the second day and vacuum but I wasn't even in the room at all until that night - we went to Barstow.

I have the whole checkout exchange on video and the manager said I was "good" and called into the front desk to have them release my deposit hold. Then today I see that they have charged me fully for the entire $200 deposit. Lmfao. Right. Immediately disputed with USAA. I will NEVER stay here again and will be leaving 1 star reviews on every platform I can because the dishonesty and incompetence is frankly disgusting. I've stayed at $30 motels in Wyoming with better customer service skills than this dump. STAY AWAY DO NOT BOOK!
