Would stay again
Super 8 by Wyndham Asheville BiltmoreThe beds are wonderful and was ample king bed room to let our dog walk and play fetch with ball. Breakfast left a lot to be desired though.
Near ocean
Captain's Cove MotelStaff that cleaned rooms were very friendly, gave our dog a treat bag. Maintenance man answered call quick and was friendly. The owners have tried to maintain the retro decor, but could use new beds. With that being said, I would still say it was a pleasant place to stay and would suggest it to friends and family.
Not good
Cherokee LodgePet walking area is not lit after dark, not fenced. Front desk warned us not to walk dog if elk are seen in area due to fact they might attack; we saw 3 elk walking nearby. Pet walking are is also full of debris and trash. Rooms need updating. The TV was difficult to use and when front desk was informed, they said they needed to get a different TV for the room. Beds were uncomfortable. When I arrived, was told there were no pet rooms. There is $150 extra charge for non pet rooms, but front desk said they would wave charge due to reservation.
Ruff night
Red Roof Inn Florence Civic CenterThe staff was polite and professional; no fee for pet was nice; walking distance to a few restaurants so you could get take out (not pet friendly). Nice large area to walk dog on leash. Room could use update but not bad for price. All that said, we didn’t sleep due to someone arguing outside door for hours and no one answered at front desk during night to report it to.
