Poetry in the rain
The Ridge HotelUnfortunately, we encountered consecutive rainy days during our two-day stay at the hotel. However, the picturesque scenery and warm hospitality of the hotel provided us with a different kind of delight. Taking our big dog for a walk in the rain, sipping coffee together with our furry friend in the café, and the friendly greetings from the hotel staff to our dog, even some fellow guests purposely coming to take photos with the dog. If it weren't for the rain, perhaps we wouldn't have noticed these beautiful and kind gestures around us. They were like poetry and paintings, enriching and warming our lives.

Broken Elevator
Best Western Plus Dubuque Hotel & Conference CenterDuring our five-day stay at the hotel, the elevator was out of service for four days, and as we were staying on the fourth floor with our 80-pound dog. You can imagine the inconvenience we faced. When I inquired with the hotel, the response I received was that they did not know when it would be back in service. This has left our vacation exhausting and unpleasant.
