Subpar

Hotel needs a little TLC and a good deep cleaning. Room worked great for us, but the cleanliness was subpar. Around the edges in the bathroom were very dirty. Underneath the beds were dirty. With dogs being allowed in the rooms, housekeeping should really make sure nothing is under the bed. Our puppy ate a cap from a water bottle that was under the bed from previous guest. Also, even though poop bags were provided, out the side door in the grassy area was filled with poop and pheasant guts. Our puppy decided to treat herself to some. I know it is truly the responsibility of the pet owner to clean up after their dog and also take care of their bird guts properly, some people are lazy. Nothing was said to us upon check-in about what is expected with regards to this. Unfortunately I think this falls on the hotel if they are allowing dogs. Like my husband said, we paid for a night at a dog kennel. The plus side is it was right next door to Al's Oasis, which was super convenient.
