Nice location

We were at a dog show at the fairgrounds and this hotel was just minutes from the show. The staff were pleasant, the rooms clean, and breakfast was good. The only complaint I had was when I arrived they charged me for $20 pet fee (I couldn’t remember if the charge was per night or per stay) so I didn’t question it. Then upon checkout I saw another $23, and the person at the desk couldn’t tell me what it was for. I called the concierge from BringFido who called the hotel and found out it was for the second night ($20) plus tax. My two main issues with this was there was no consistency and why is there 15% tax on the pet fee? $3 is not a big deal for one night, but for multiple nights it would certainly grow! I have contacted the hotel but have not had a response yet. Like I said, I like consistency!
