Overall good but some issues

VS367 Village Square

My son (15), pup, and I rented this condo over Christmas (4 nights). We live in Highlands Ranch (90m away) and were looking to avoid the drive each day to ski. So I paid the extreme premium and rented this condo because it was walking distance to the American Flier lift, AND it allowed our pup Daisy to stay with us.

Overall, the condo met our needs and was nicer than some of the other reviews were making me think it was going to be. However, the reviews are correct in that Parking is confusing. MAKE SURE YOU REGISTER YOUR VEHICLE WITH THE ACTUAL CONDO GARAGE. There is a magnet on the refrigerator about who to register it with. The management company doesn't register for you (they should though because I had no idea about this and got a sticker warning on my drivers side window, super pain to get off). One car can park in the condo garage and one in the Ten Mile garage across the street.

The elevator does NOT go from the garage to the 3rd floor room!! The only way to get your stuff from your vehicle in the garage to the room, is to carry it up the stairs by hand, or find a luggage cart and wheel it outside the garage, up a wheelchair ramp outside, then in a 1st floor door, then into the elevator. If it's snowy, then the cart will not roll outside, and you have to carry ALL your stuff up the garage stairs to the 1st floor elevator, then go up to the 3rd floor. This was very inconvenient as I brought a lot of things from home for us. Took my son, and I MANY trips up and down.

Take your pillows and bedding! The condo doesn't have adequate blankets or pillows. The mattress and couch are both old and not the most comfortable. You will want your own bedding so you are more comfortable! The Wifi is weak. If you have kids with an xBox, they won't be able to use the wifi for streaming because the signal is not string enough. Make sure they download their games beforehand.
The patio is NOT shoveled. The snow is deep. The condo doesn't have a shovel. However, the building has one outside the 1st floor door that you can borrow. I didn't shovel it because my dog liked the snow to roll around in.

I bought an air mattress and queen sheets for my son (and the master bed) because the couch was not comfortable to sleep on, and the bars were felt through the thin pull out mattress. An air mattress is more comfortable than the couch. Take all your cooking spices and anything you need to cook. While there is no oven, there is a countertop smaller oven you can use for French fries, etc. A pizza won't fit in it.

The water pressure is great! The shower head is adjustable. The toilet paper is single ply and rough, bring your own to be more comfortable. There are humidifiers in the closet. They help to add moisturize AND block the noises from the building rooms; ski boots are loud and can be heard walking around. We also brought 2 noise machines and ran the humidifiers. The living room tv is small, and the sound is crappy. If you want to watch a movie, move the bedroom tv out to a living room table and use that one.

Overall, while I paid the 4x higher rate for Christmas, it did work for my son and I. However, it wouldn't work for more than us 2 because the sleeping arrangements are not maximized for more than sleeping in 1 queen bed. The couch is not ideal to sleep on. And the windows do have cold air leaking in - don't put the air mattress in front of the windows. It's cold!
