Good and dog friendly, with conditions

Tl;Dr: not fully dog friendly

So the atmosphere is nice and the staff is friendly. When we asked if the restaurant was dog friendly (based of the reviews here) they confirmed they were. There was a little bit of a wait so we waited at the bar, where the bartender stated that technically only service dogs are allowed.

We thought this was weird considering what we heard, but we were respectful and they allowed us to wait for our table. When we were seated, our server did confirm that there was a mistake, and only service dogs were allowed. They were kind enough to let us stay but I wish they were more upfront about it!

Dog friendly: only when weather permits!
