3rd floor, REALLY!
Best Western Plus Olive Branch Hotel & SuitesI stayed here twice in one week while travelling. The first time, I was given a room at the end of the hallway on ground floor by an exit. Very happy. My return visit I was on the third floor! I asked if a ground floor room was available and told no, even though the parking lot was maybe half full. My 14 y.o. lab has Cushings disease which means she urinates frequently. Waiting for the only elevator is unacceptable. The room(s) were clean and beds comfortable but water pressure was weak in showers. "Hot" breakfast was varied and had decent selection but tasted like everything was microwaved but seems normal for all hotels. Probably won't return because of third floor debacle.

Great Seafood
King Neptune's Seafood RestaurantGlad we stopped at this veteran owned business. Seated immediately on their umbrella covered tables on the patio with our dog. Kevin brought out ice water quickly and took our drink order. We both ordered the catch of the day , red snapper. Our sides were slaw, okra, corn on cob, and roasted red potatoes. The fish was fresh and flaky with just the right amount of seasoning (blackened) and was a nice sized fillet. It was delicious! Kevin kept our drinks filled and suggested the beignets for dessert. They came out warm and flaky...so good. Reasonable prices with great food and service.

Great Seafood
The Beach House Kitchen & CocktailsExcellent seafood. $19 grouper meals were outstanding. Kathy, our server was quick, efficient, and brought a large bowl of ice water for our dog as soon as we were seated. Get the key lime coolers...they taste like a key lime pie. We will return.

Just Average
Islander Food ShackStopped on our way to airbnb....was seated immediately on patio and had to ask Jade for water for our dog. We ordered Jamaican meat pies, blackened grouper and mahi tacos. Tacos were delicious, meat pies and grouper average. Disappointed with pineapple slaw....no pineapple. Food came out in timely manner. The bushwacker tasted like melted ice cream with a teaspoon of rum....dont waste your money.
