Red Roof Inn Tallahassee EastHotels in the Tallahassee area are expensive, so the $84 (+ $25 pet fee) was attractive here. It had good reviews from pet owners so we booked it. UGH! Noisy trucks in parking lot all night, thin walls, grounds were unkept and I didn’t feel safe here, especially walking my dog on the back of the property. I feel badly because it’s family owned but I’ll spend $50 more next time and skip the sketchiness.
It’s the little things...
Roadrunner LodgeLoved the extra touches- like gourmet dog treats arranged neatly on a plate, like a water bowl and clean-up towels, even knowing our dog’s name... a light on and music playing made a warm welcome! This is very vintage 1960’s, no frills (tiny bathroom, no frig/microwave) but VERY comfy king bed. Nice dog yard and great places to eat across the street (with pet friendly patios).
Huge clean rooms
La Quinta by Wyndham Houston ChannelviewNewly remodeled, spacious, great beds, super clean! But the morning coffee in the lobby gets an F. Our only complaint.
