Locked Out Of Our Room Rude Staff

We simply couldn’t open the door as soon as we got our key. Thinking it was the key, it wasn’t. The doorknob was jammed. We notified staff and she said she wouldn’t walk in the dark with two strangers and a dog to let us in. We had our receipt and ID’s on us. She also stated that we could get our stuff off of her property. I told her I would if they would let us in our room! We left to the store and came back. I figured if we’re locked out, she would have to let us in or I can call the cops for her withholding our property in a room we paid for. We came back and requested another room with a door that works. She stated she wasn’t going to give us another room that could accommodate us and tried to give us a double bed for the same price I paid without lowering the price. I paid $116 for a queen bed. They let us in our room finally, we decided to pack our stuff and find somewhere else to go. Horrible service and the owner was NOT dog friendly!
