Biohazard motel
Red Roof Inn Toledo MaumeeI used to stay here a few times a year while on road trips to see family, but never again. This hotel’s cleanliness had gone downhill. First I found vomit crusted on the toilet seat and then I discovered bodily fluids all over the wall behind the bed, on the picture frame and on the mirror. I’ve contacted management many times about the issue and they will not return my calls. Disgusting!

Very Dog Friendly, Even When Solo
Lewis BarbecueI read another review to not come here alone with your dog, but I came here anyway when traveling alone with my two 50lbs dogs. The outside area has heavy picnic tables and it’s easy enough to leave your dogs tied to the table when you run in to get food. Also some of the best BBQ I’ve had.

Great Food and Great Staff
Brown Dog DeliI loved the food here, try the fried green tomato BLT. Best of all the staff was so welcoming to my dogs. Not to put you off your meal, but my dog threw up on the sidewalk outside (he drank water too fast) and they were so helpful in washing it off the sidewalk and made my feel less ashamed.

Good food, not the best service.
Taco Dive BarThe food here was descent, but if you’re looking for a place where your dog is welcomed with open arms, this isn’t it. The staff only seemed to tolerate dogs. When I asked if I could have my dog at an outdoor table, I was rudely told, “yes, but keep him out of the way.” They also never offered water even though it was a very hot day. Service was also lacking in other ways like not providing napkins, forks or refills on drinks.
