Beautiful hotel with recent change
V Boutique HotelThere is now a $50 per pet fee. We stayed last year pet free and loved the hotel. This year we booked again and we’re surprised at check in with the pet fee.

Used to be our go to place, not anymore
Dog Park at Steeplechase ParkIf you go in the morning its ok. If you go in the afternoon look out for a husky named ***** and his humans.
The dog starts fights with other dogs and the owners then go after the other dog claiming their dog is innocent. I had to have the cops called on them when the husband hit my dog three times on the head.
Now my dogs are traumatized (our puppy is now running and hiding from new people when he used to run up to any one). I would avoid unless your going in the mornings it used to be a good group there around 10 am. Being a college town theres not many dog parks to go to, and this may be the end of dog park trips for our guys

Park is huge and has a great trail system attached to it
Morris "Buzz" Hamilton Park Dog ParkWe take our guys here all the time, especially now that our older dog runs with me. Bf will stay in the dog park with our puppy while I run with our lab, then we switch and he runs while the dogs play. They have lights in the small dog area that will blink when your sections light is about to go out (if they go out it takes about 15 mins for them to come back on)

Awesome staff
Firestone Complete Auto CareI had to take my car here to get a tire looked at, it was going to take a bit so I asked if my dog could sit with me in the waiting area. They said of course, my dog had a blast. Both of the guys came and loved on him and made waiting on a tire repair quite relaxing.

We love this trail system
Lick Creek ParkOur dogs love this trail system. It runs along the main creek and has several smaller creeks that our lab loves playing in. This is a leash free park (the only one in town) so you do have to watch for dogs that run ahead of their owners.

Friendly and understanding staff
PETCO College StationOur 75 lbs dog is terrified of the automatic doors at the entrance they are always giving him attention and treats while were in the store
