Good place to stay
La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Hattiesburg - I-59Comfortable beds, ground floor room, quiet. Outdoor grass for the dog with a bin for poops. Breakfast was pretty standard. Nearby restaurants, with takeout.
Basic
Best Western Presidential Hotel & SuitesWhen we arrived their system was down, so we could not check in for an hour. Room was basic, beds not very comfortable. My bed had a steel bracket on it that stuck out and gouged my leg. When I reported it their only offer was to change the room!
The pet friendly rooms were on the 3rd floor. Lots of grass outside, but no bins for dog waste and no poop bags. Luckily I carry my own, but had to deposit it inside the hotel in a bin there.
Undergoing renovations
Quality Suites I-44The hotel rooms were being refurbished, although ours had been done. The beds were very comfortable. There was no designated pet area, but there was plenty of grass around. This is a family run business, and they seem to be making a good effort. They said the renovations would be finished next week.
Pretty good
Fossil Creek Hotel and SuitesVery comfortable bed, spacious room. Dog was happy! Downside: WiFi was very slow.
Great stay
Comfort Inn Near Vail Beaver CreekComfortable beds, great choices for breakfast, plenty of grass for the dog.
Great!
Salida Inn & Monarch SuitesWe were booked into a 2nd floor room. When I said this was not acceptable, we were upgraded to a cottage at no extra charge. This was very comfortable. The people were lovely, very kind and helpful.
Quaint property
The Inn at Tomichi VillagePlenty of grass for the dog. Good breakfast, comfortable room with great shower.
Beware
DoubleTree by Hilton Grand JunctionCharge for parking, hard to find poop bin, and breakfast not included.
