Clean and well maintained
Baymont by Wyndham Bridgeport/FrankenmuthHad a good experience for a 1 night stay. Room was very clean and had everything we needed. I appreciated that they gave us a 1st floor room as requested (my pup doesn’t like elevators). Breakfast was average but as expected for that type of hotel. Overall I was very happy with this stay and will look for this hotel for future stops in the area.
Dog friendly hotel but rundown
Red Roof Inn FlintI was shocked at the difference i the hotel since the last time I stayed there (2019), the place has not been maintained well, the place is really aging fast and desperately needs maintenance. Including some simple things like the rug in the elevator was FILTHY. That said the bathroom was very clean and everything in working order the water pressure in the shower was great! The sheets were clean and the bed reasonably comfy so that was a relief. But I’m te place is taking a beating and it shows. As far as dog friendliness, it was fine -nothing special done for the pet but they also didn’t give me a hard time or make me feel unwelcome (like some places can with 400 rules about the dog, each threatening to throw you out). Overall I was a little disappointed as the hotel is not as nice as it was previously but it was adequate for a simple overnight, on the road stay.
Good hotel
AmericInn by Wyndham Bay CityI was overall very pleased with this hotel and my booking but I did find it strange that BringFido failed to indicate a pet friendly room. Luckily the hotel had some available so it was not a problem but they said the reservation did not indicate a pet and hadn’t requested a pet friendly room (which is the whole point to using the website)
