Super nice place
Hotel TexasThe gentleman behind the reception desk who also cooked us breakfast to order was super nice and helpful. Location is away from town a little, so we had cattle in a big field right next door, and views of gorgeous oak trees. Facilities were clean and neat. Price can’t be beat.

Great property
Hilton Santa Fe Buffalo ThunderWonderful location and facility. We had a first floor room with a patio. Sitting on it, we could not see another person or building, just nature. Perfectly lovely. Nice lobby, pool, casino. Like everywhere we’ve been lately, they seem to have staffing shortages and so not able to keep restaurants open much, nor room service. It was impossible to find a place with a dog-friendly patio so we had to drive a few miles. That was fine, but it would have been nice to try the different restaurants, and they would have gotten our dining dollars rather than area restaurants. Overall, very nice and highly recommend. l would check open times for the restaurants so you aren’t caught by surprise.

They Close at midday

Great oceanfront location
Sand Rose Beach ResortWalk out the door to a huge deck and onto the beach. Nice staff, and comfortable accommodations. Tons of dogs!
