Beware - Their vaccination requirements go beyond what Vets recommend

Passing thru Dayton and had planned to leave our Pug for a few hours on June 24 while we went to National Museum of the USAF. Had registered on-line and received an email confirmation. First thing we noticed when we walked in was two women behind the counter who seemed like they didn't want to be there - not very friendly. When we showed them up-to-date vaccination records for Millie (our Pug), that informed us that they require Bordetella vaccine every 6 months. Our veterinarian has told us it is needed every 12 months (it had been 7 months since our dog had been vaccinated), so it was surprising that these people apparently think they know more than our vet. They would not board her, so our plans for the day went out the window. The next day we drove to Asheville, NC where the dog daycare there accepted Millie's vaccination records, no problem. It would have been nice if Sit, Stay n' Play had informed us of their "non-standard" requirement before we arrived.
